Foorhang LLP ("Foorhang", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request a consultation, quote, or measurement through our website, by phone, or in person, we collect the information you provide to us. This typically includes your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and details about the window coverings you are interested in.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes, to schedule measurements, installations and follow-up appointments, to keep you informed about the status of your order, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

Foorhang operates an SMS text messaging program. This section explains how we handle information collected through that program.

What we collect. When you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including the date, the time, and the method by which you gave it.

How you opt in. Consent is given when you approve a quote in our online quote approval system. The consent wording shown to you and a record of your approval are stored with your quote. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.

How we use it. We use your mobile number solely to send the messages you signed up for: appointment confirmations, measurement and installation scheduling updates, and quote follow-ups relating to your order.

SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

We use a messaging service provider to deliver these messages on our behalf. That provider processes your phone number only in order to transmit our messages and is contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose. This is not sharing for marketing purposes.

Opting out. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@foorhang.com.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention. We retain your mobile number and your consent record for as long as you remain opted in, and for four years afterwards, in order to demonstrate that consent was obtained.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our business — for example our messaging provider, payment processor, or installation subcontractors — and only to the extent needed to perform that work. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to hello@foorhang.com. You may unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying STOP, and from email by using the unsubscribe link in any message.

Children

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
